Our Doctor
I am originally from Sofia, Bulgaria where I studied veterinary medicine at the University of Forestry, College of Veterinary Medicine. I was awarded a full scholarship for having one of the highest entry scores and graduated in the top 10% of my class in 2002.
I practiced shortly in Sofia, Bulgaria before moving to Knoxville,Tennessee. There, I worked in variety of veterinary clinics while preparing to obtain licensure in the United States.
I have been in the Franklin area since 2011 and was previously associated with two local small animal practices in Brentwood. My areas of special interest include dermatology, ophthalmology, gastroenterology, nutrition, preventive medicine, senior and end of life pet care.
I enjoy spending time with my husband, our two children and Jojo (their Boston terrier). I have previously owned a variety of dogs including two Rottweilers, a Chow Chow, Bloodhound and a Maltese. When not working, you can find me outdoors hiking or on the tennis court with her family. I love traveling, art, cooking and photography.
Being able to advocate for the health and well being of my pet patients is my primary goal. I take the time to get to know each pet as well as their family and I treat them as my own. I feel that it is a privilege and an honor to be able to help both the owner and pet through each moment of their life.
